Pocket Places

An innovative trial run by Sustrans to create better public spaces in Peckham. As a local resident I consulted on the project prior to the public workshops and volunteered through to the end. The collected ideas were voted within the wider community and a core group turned the favourites into reality at a one day festival. My involvement included story writing workshops with school children and participating in the documentary video. Ideas I conceived ended up being transformed into briefs and commissed to become permanent artworks in the community.
