Tumbleweave

‘Peckham Nests’, was born from an observational study of the vibrant tumbleweave rolling around South London. I imagined the birds making colourful nests, of red, golden or auburn hair with various debris swept into the street. I wonder how competitive they are with their homes of twigs and weaves. This piece was exhibited at Peckham Platform and formed part of an ongoing photography study of the area I live.
